Ett lyxhotell på 2000 meters höjd

Detta hotell var oväntat bra. Efter att ha provat ett antal hotell i Georgien var förväntningarna inte överdrivit stora att finna ett hotell på 2000 meters höjd. Men detta hotell är jättefint. Tjusigt byggt utmed bergsryggen. Stor och ljus reception med en imponerande restaurang och moderna rum. Allt serverat med bästa arkitektonisk kunskap. Отдых в Гудаури

Всем привет! Гудаури: что за фрукт и с чем есть? Для многих лыжников и сноубордистов Европа закрыта для катания, приходится искать альтернативы. И Гудаури хороший вариант. Отель Марко Поло - лучший отель про расположению и комфорту здесь, приятное лобби. Номера - нормальные, не шикарные, но уютные. СПА - лучший отдых после каталки. Здесь все хорошо: бассейн теплый. Хаммам шикарный. Баня хорошая, но хаммам впечатлил больше. Есть массаж, пробовала массаж лица, не особо впечатлило, но что бы расслабиться - хорошо. Далее про ресторан в отеле. Завтраки хорошие, много вкусного. Чиа пудинги вообще отпад. Но хотелось бы увеличить кол-во горячего. А дальше ужас: как только приехали решили поужинать в том же ресторане, мама родная(( дорого и не вкусно. Вот реально! Харчо не настоящий грузинский суп, а какая то похлебка, пюре сухое и безжизненное. Поменять бы поваров.. Теперь про то, почему отель лучший в плане каталки. На 1 этаже есть комната, где у каждого номера свой шкафчик, там можно хранить все катальное оборудование, а во время каталки обувь. Входите в эту комнату через отель, выходите уже с другой стороны на улицу, надеваете лыжи/сноуборд, проезжаете 15 метров и вы на подъемнике! Так же при спуске с горы: сразу съезд в отель, в то же место где начинали. Ски пасс покупаете прям напротив отеля, прокат и инструктора там же. В целом моя оценка Marco Polo - 6,5/10. Это не плохо, как есть. Здесь - лучшее что может быть. Но не вау. Я вернусь еще.

Bad experience overshadows the good

Location is awesome but services are poor. RESTAURANT staff is extremely rude and arrogant. As there is only one restaurant in the hotel they believe they can twist your arm at will. However the bad experience overshadows the good ones. Needless to mention that the hotel is built in a serene location. Everything else is substandard and don't deserve a 4 star rating.

Ideal place to stay in Guduari

We were weighing where to spend our holiday Guduari or Kazbegi. But Guduari is far better option. You can do day trip to Kazbegi. Marco Polo is a Well located hotel with a nice view. temperature is well controlled in the entire hotel. You don’t feel cold despite minus degree outside. Rooms are comfortable, temperature well maintained in the full hotel. You don’t feel cold despite minus degree outside. Lots of non sports activities in the hotel. They have a nice pool (wish the water was a bit warmer). Steam, sauna can be better. Irina was prompt in replying to emails for reservations. Good food options for vegetarians. Breakfast too has lot of salads, yogurts, cereals, fruits, cheese & eggless breads for pure vegetarians. Head Chef Liza was very receptive & helpful. David, bell boy is a very energetic promising youngster, who speaks good English & very helpful. The staff at reception - Lukas & Taos were very unreceptive & cold. Least bothered about guests. We had booked a Superior room particularly for a room with view of snow, ski resort (Guduari lodge facing). Despite having rooms available they were unwilling to allot those rooms to us. They gave us a room overlooking parking lot. However, we had to push hard to get room with a good view. That was great! On previous night, we had given all billing details to Lukas instructing him to feed in details so we do not waste time on check out next morning but he didn’t do it. Most unfriendly reception staff except Nina, who was smiling & helpful. After charging such high room prices, they give only 2 bottles of water per day, which is strange. Toiletries are mediocre All in all super place to stay (except the reception)

Great value for money

Great value for money. I’m glad we choose this hotel over others despite of our limited budget. The location is great. They have a very nice breakfast buffet, food from a la cart is also nice. The serving in the evening is a little slow though. Pool and sound are very good. There are ski passes and rentals available, that was very convenient.
